I worked with Joanne Lo at x Scandi school in 2015. At the time, Joanne was the Head Teacher of the school and I was a school governor. Joanne is a competent school leader with a real passion for child education. She marks herself as someone who creates a warm and support team culture amongst her staff as well as more broadly across the school cohort. Although Joanne resigned the school at the end of the year this culture still persis to this day and is one of the characteristics that continues to distinguish the school. I wish Joanne the best of luck with her future endeavors to improve education for children in the UK and beyond.

I had the privilege of overseeing and working with Joanne on a regular basis while she was the Headmistress of a startup Scandinavian School in Central London where she lead a team of seven teachers. Joanne has always managed her team in a mindful way where he ideal aim was to empower and build her team up! She had daily responsibility for seven teacher and a group of volunteers that supported the daily school activities.
